Ok...here I go again...
It's been requested and I agree that under the "Object" category in tasks, it would be nice to have the shot name appended to the shot identifier...
More to come.....

   I think that this is already the case (see attached picture.)

   Also, its easiest to create new tasks from the detail page of the object you want to task up. For instance, if you are looking at a shot and click the 'new task' link on that page, the new task form will have the shot information already filled in.
