Deleting/editing a post from the forums?

Is there a way to go back and edit or delete one of my own posts in a forum thread? Second thoughts are sometimes pretty good thoughts and it'd be great to have the ability to go back and do modifications.

Hi Juan Carlos,
No, there is no way to edit or delete forum posts. This was done deliberately to ensure the continuity of the messages with email and provide an audit trail of conversations. Basecamp is the same way.
If there is something posted that is truly damaging, send me the URL and I can go into your database and manually redact it.

Hi Cameron.
I see that the process makes sense. It{s nothing major; it's just one person that is not 'too familiar yet and she posted the same reply three or four times and she would lie to keep one, any one. Don't worry about it and thanks for the quick reply.
